1 place on our list here — walks from the village. Every verdict below was checked by a human — the stamp shows when.
A twelve hectare reservoir in the valley of Ulley Brook between Aughton and Ulley village, five miles south-east of Rotherham, with a made path right round the water and a sailing club on the north bank. The reservoir is fished under Rotherham Council permits and the far bank is quiet enough for herons and grebes. Parking is charged twenty-four hours a day, every day, at the Pleasley Road car park, which is the only sensible way in — Reservoir Road and Ulley Lane carry waiting restrictions. The circuit is level apart from the pull up from the dam at the western end.

Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
