A large roadside pub at 133 Bawtry Road in the middle of Wickersley, a few minutes from the paths through Wickersley Wood and Listerdale Nature Reserve on the south side of the village. Its own pub-group page calls it a dog friendly pub with water bowls ready and treats behind the bar, and sets no rooms aside as off limits, so a dog can come in with you rather than being tied up outside. It is a busy village local rather than a quiet snug, so a nervous dog is better in early afternoon than on a Friday night.
