1 place on our list here — walks from the village. Every verdict below was checked by a human — the stamp shows when.
A small Sheffield local green space at Burncross on the western edge of Chapeltown, a strip of mown grass and mature boundary trees with a made path round it and a play area at one end. It takes about twenty minutes to walk round twice and it is lit at the road end, which is what makes it the winter evening walk for this side of Chapeltown. Chapeltown Park is a mile east and Wheata Woods a mile and a half south-west if you want more than that.
