1 place on our list here — walks from the village. Every verdict below was checked by a human — the stamp shows when.
Acklam has no pub, no shop and no public car park, but it does have a signposted field path north to Leavening, and this two-mile round out and lane back is the whole of the village's walking. Leave by Kirk Balk, pick up the footpath at the sign on the south side, cross two arable fields on a grass headland, and drop into Leavening by Beck Lane. Come back down Whin Hill and Kirk Balk. The lane sections are national speed limit with no footway and hedges to the verge in places, so it is a short-lead walk on tarmac and a longer-lead walk on the field path.

Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
