Visit the castle ruins and just 1 mile down the track Duncombe Park stately home where in summer months visitors can swim in the heated open-air swimming pool. Explore the walking and cycling routes of both the Cleveland Way and Ebor Way both starting in the town and heading towards the breath-taking moors for fabulous scenery and wonderful wildlife. The celebrated city of York and Castle Howard are 24 miles and 13 miles away respectively and a trip to the stunning coastline is a great day out.
