ADD A PLACEA small family-run Georgian country house hotel in Austwick, and about as smart as dog-friendly gets in this corner of the Dales. Dogs are welcome in all fourteen rooms and anywhere in the house on a lead except the two dining rooms; reserve a bar table and you can eat with the dog at your feet. There are two lawns, outdoor dog-washing facilities and a bin in the car park.
