North Yorkshire · 1 places checked
1 place on our list here — places checked on the ground. Every verdict below was checked by a human — the stamp shows when.
The Yorkshire Museum of Farming, four miles east of York, with a reconstructed Viking village, a Roman fort and a yard of rare-breed farm animals. Well-behaved dogs on a lead are very welcome on the site, although not inside any of the buildings. There is plenty of open ground to walk them between the exhibits.
Know a Murton pub, cafe or place to stay that lets dogs in? Tell us and we will go and check it.

Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
One short email when we add places or a council changes its beach rules. No noise, easy out.
