A flint-and-brick pub on Thornham high street with eleven bedrooms split between the inn and a cottage next door. The pub says it is dog friendly throughout, including most of the bedrooms, and overnight dogs get the use of a bed, a bowl and a ball to take home. Water and snacks are out for dogs all day, and there is a resident pub dog.
A sixteenth-century smugglers' inn on the edge of Thornham marsh, all low beams, open fires and paraffin lamps. Dogs are welcome through the door and can stay the night, with a bed, towel and water bowl in the room and a cooked sausage at breakfast; there is a dog menu too. The marsh boardwalk starts a few yards away.
A smart village pub at the Hunstanton end of Thornham, known locally for cooking well above the average. It is proudly dog friendly, with its own doggy menu and guest rooms that take dogs. A good stop between the Titchwell marshes and Holme dunes.
