This comfortable compact and welcoming property is perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway and a great base for discovering the area. Situated on a small holiday complex just outside the coastal village of Charmouth the beautiful 30 acre site includes two small lakes and a 4 star hotel which has a Café Bar restaurant and Spa facilities. Located on the Jurassic Coastal Path diversion with access from the doorstep to more than 250 miles of wonderful coastal walks the property is situated on the West Dorset/East Devon border so you are ideally placed for touring both counties. A short distance away the World Heritage site of Lyme Regis and its famous Cobb harbour bright boats narrow streets and fossil-rich cliffs also boasts a good choice of shops inns restaurants and cafes. Sidmouth Seaton and the old fishing village of Beer are a short drive away and there are many other attractions to discover including Pecorama Beer Caves Seaton Tramway Crealy Bicton Park Burrows Farm Gardens Killerton and Knightshayes Court. The Jurassic Coastal Bus stops at the bottom of the drive making it very convenient for journeys out without the car. Stepping inside the beautifully presented accommodation the open-plan lounge/dining/sleeping area is compact yet light and airy. There is a separate kitchen equipped with an electric hob and oven microwave fridge with freezer compartment where you can prepare romantic meals for two. Enjoy a cup of coffee or leisurely meal at the bistro-style dining table in the main living accommodation before settling down for a cosy evening in front of the Smart TV or perhaps watch a DVD on the Blu-ray player. Enjoy a restful night s sleep in the double bed and completing the accommodation is a light and bright shower room with WC. Immediately outside the property is a small shared open courtyard area with a table and chairs. There is also a shared lawn area with seating and a BBQ for enjoying al fresco meals together with beautifully maintained shared gardens and two lakes for romantic strolls. This property enjoys a rural location in the Dorset countryside. There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area to suit all tastes from relaxing country walks to fossil hunting at Charmouth taking in the iconic views of Lulworth Cove and enjoying traditional seaside activities on Weymouth s expansive beach. For those who like to explore the local towns whilst away Dorchester which lies just sixteen miles south of property has a good range of shops and eateries as well as a number of museums specialising in teddy bears dinosaurs and even Tutankhamun. On entering this barn conversion property guests will find themselves in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its inviting leather sofas warming wood burner TV and DVD dining table seating eight and patio doors which lead out to the courtyard. A breakfast bar in the spacious kitchen area provides a second dining space and is ideal for enjoying drinks and chatting whilst preparing meals. The kitchen itself has been well thought out and offers an electric range style cooker microwave American style fridge freezer dishwasher and washer/dryer. Also on the ground floor is a convenient cloakroom with WC. All four of the property s bedrooms are located on the first floor the first of which is a double room which benefits from an en-suite bathroom with shower-over-bath and WC as well as a Juliette balcony. The second bedroom is also a double room whilst there is also a twin room and a bink bedroom. The main bathroom offers a shower-over-bath and WC. The patio doors in the lounge/kitchen/diner open onto the shared courtyard. Guests at all four properties have shared use of extensive grounds which include two pretty lakes which are home to an abundance of wildlife as well as lawn areas and a children s play area with a climbing frame and slide. The wonderful indoor heated swimming pool is open to all guests on a daily basis from 8.30am -8pm although times may vary as it is sometimes this booked for private use. As tantalising aromas waft their way from the oven lay up the dining table or for something extra special prepare the outside table for feasts under the open sky. Situated on a steep secluded lane which leads to a small nature reserve this pretty semi-detached cottage is nestled in the idyllic village of Charmouth and is perfect for exploring the Jurassic Coast. Charmouth Beach is just half a mile away and is the best fossil-hunting beach in the county. Lyme Regis is nearby and is famous for its links to Jane Austen and Henry Fielding. You can visit the 13th century Cobb Harbour or sample the town s great range of independent shops pubs and restaurants. Further along the coast are several glorious beaches including Eype (8 miles) West Bay (9.5 miles) and Hive Beach (11 miles). You can also explore Golden Cap (5 miles) or venture inland to delightful towns including Bridport (8 miles) and Beaminster (14.5 miles). On entering this pretty cottage you can leave coats and boots in the hall and go through to the light and attractive lounge. With plenty of seating a Smart TV and a wood burner set in a large beamed inglenook this is an ideal place to relax in at the end of a great day. You will also find a charming dining area which is perfect for sharing a family meal. The bright and stylish kitchen is equipped with an oven fridge freezer microwave and dishwasher. The washing machine is stored in an outhouse accessed via six steps. There is also a delightful sunroom to relax in with seating and views across the garden. Going upstairs you will find two comfortable bedrooms on the first floor. Firstly there is a spacious dual aspect double bedroom with a king-size bed pretty window seat and a TV and also a single bedroom. Both bedrooms have far reaching countryside views. Completing the first floor is the bathroom which has a shower over the small bath and a WC. A steep and winding staircase leads up to the second floor where you will find a twin bedroom with sea glimpses. This bedroom has access to a separate WC on the second floor - please note both these rooms have low eaves. Stepping outside the rear enclosed garden is a lovely space to unwind in with paved seating areas a BBQ and fantastic rural views.
