This property enjoys a rural location in the Dorset countryside. There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area to suit all tastes from relaxing country walks to fossil hunting at Charmouth taking in the iconic views of Lulworth Cove and enjoying traditional seaside activities on Weymouth s expansive beach. For those who like to explore the local towns whilst away Dorchester which lies just sixteen miles south of property has a good range of shops and eateries as well as a number of museums specialising in teddy bears dinosaurs and even Tutankhamun. On entering this barn conversion property guests will find themselves in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its inviting leather sofas warming wood burner TV and DVD dining table seating eight and patio doors which lead out to the courtyard. A breakfast bar in the spacious kitchen area provides a second dining space and is ideal for enjoying drinks and chatting whilst preparing meals. The kitchen itself has been well thought out and offers an electric range style cooker microwave American style fridge freezer dishwasher and washer/dryer. Also on the ground floor is a convenient cloakroom with WC. All four of the property s bedrooms are located on the first floor the first of which is a double room which benefits from an en-suite bathroom with shower-over-bath and WC as well as a Juliette balcony. The second bedroom is also a double room whilst there is also a twin room and a bink bedroom. The main bathroom offers a shower-over-bath and WC. The patio doors in the lounge/kitchen/diner open onto the shared courtyard. Guests at all four properties have shared use of extensive grounds which include two pretty lakes which are home to an abundance of wildlife as well as lawn areas and a children s play area with a climbing frame and slide. The wonderful indoor heated swimming pool is open to all guests on a daily basis from 8.30am -8pm although times may vary as it is sometimes this booked for private use. (There is an up-to-date timetable provided onsite). Need to know: 4 bedrooms: 2 doubles, 1 twin, and 1 bunk bedroom. Bathroom with shower over bath, and WC. En suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC to one of the double rooms and downstairs WC. TV/DVD. Wood burner with first basket of logs provided (extra logs can be purchased onsite at 5 per basket. Electric style Range cooker, microwave, American style Fridge/Freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. 1 dog welcome, dogs are politely requested to be kept under control on leads when out in the shared grounds. Shared indoor heated pool each cottage will have a designated 2 hour slot each day (varying times) for the pool, with sole use of the pool times will be displayed in the cottage on arrival. Pub and shop 0.5 miles, beach 30 miles.
