Wath upon Dearne · 1 checked & stamped
Lunch with the dog under the table, not tied to a post outside. Where Wath upon Dearne says yes indoors, we say so — and where it is the terrace only, we say that too.
The lakeside cafe at the Manvers Lake and Dearne Valley Trust boathouse on Station Road, looking out over the water and the sailing club. The Trust lists it as dog friendly and, importantly, says the same of the indoor seating area, which is the difference between a summer stop and a year-round one. It opens Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm and at weekends from 8.30am to 3pm, with longer hours in summer, and there are toilets, baby changing, an accessible toilet, EV charging and public wifi. Parking is by suggested donation in the main car park at the door.
Know a Wath upon Dearne pub, cafe or place to stay that lets dogs in? Tell us and we will go and check it.
ADD A PLACEKnow one we have missed?
Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
One short email when we add places or a council changes its beach rules. No noise, easy out.
