Wigglesworth · 1 checked & stamped
Fires, flagstones and no side-eye at the bar. Every pub below lets the dog in — and we say exactly which rooms.
The only pub in Wigglesworth, standing on Jack Lane at the north end of the village with the Ribble valley falling away west and Pen-y-ghent and Ingleborough on the skyline. The bar has open fires and buttoned banquettes and pours Timothy Taylor's, Copper Dragon and Saltaire on cask, and the pub's own drinks page says furry friends will receive a warm welcome alongside the walkers and cyclists it is set up for. There is a large garden and terrace behind and free parking on site, which matters here because the village has no other public parking. Eleven bedrooms are let above the pub, but the dog policy for those is not published anywhere on the site.

Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
One short email when we add places or a council changes its beach rules. No noise, easy out.
