A classic English pub on Skipton High Street beneath the castle, serving hearty food and a decent range of drinks. The regional tourist board records it as having a dog-friendly atmosphere, so dogs are welcome in the bar. Convenient for a pint after Skipton Castle Woods or the canal towpath.
