Staithes · 1 checked & stamped
Sand status, settled. Each beach carries its month ring — moss means go, rosehip means the council says no.
A small, sheltered harbour beach hemmed in by steep cliffs at the foot of one of Yorkshire's prettiest fishing villages. Dogs are welcome all year, but the beach mostly disappears at high tide and the walk down through the village is steep, so it is not wheelchair accessible.
Know a Staithes pub, cafe or place to stay that lets dogs in? Tell us and we will go and check it.
ADD A PLACEKnow one we have missed?
Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
One short email when we add places or a council changes its beach rules. No noise, easy out.
