The exposed brickwork on the lower side of this property gives it a stand out factor amongst the complex of three. With easy accessibility to the A30 you re perfectly placed to explore plenty of the county s best-loved towns and attractions including Truro Cornwall s only city which is only a few miles away from the cottage. Venture to the surfing capital of Newquay for the multitude of sandy beaches or to the idyllic seaside town of St Ives in the west. Alternatively St Austell is a little further afield home to the renowned Eden Project and St Austell Brewery as well as lots of amenities. A reverse-level layout means that you enter this property on the ground floor and straight into the bedroom area. The property has one bedroom which has a king-size zip-and-link bed with memory foam mattress (which can be made up as a twin on request) en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Upstairs the living space is light and airy with the lounge/kitchen/diner in an open-plan layout. The lounge has a comfortable sofa and armchair TV DVD wood burner and French doors leading out onto the decked area with a small table and chairs the kitchen has an electric double oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Outside the property benefits from a decked area with a table and chairs to enjoy the wonderful countryside views and a private patio area where there is garden furniture and a BBQ. There is also a large grassed area. There is a washing machine located in the pump house below the decking as well as a line for drying clothes. Need to know: 1 bedroom king size zip and link bed (which can be made up as a twin on request at time of booking). 1 en suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Utility area washing machine located in the pump house below the decking where there is also a line for drying clothes. Wood burner (first basket of logs included, more can be purchased from owners). Underfloor heating. TV/DVD. Owners sell a small selection of local and home produce on site. Breakfast hamper and one pot suppers can be organised. Pizza oven available for hire by prior arrangement, operated by owners. BBQ available. Complex of properties. 3 dogs welcome (further by arrangement) owners' politely request that all dogs are treated against fleas prior to arrival. Dogs not to be allowed in bedrooms/ on furniture also, do not leave in the property unattended. Beach 5 miles, shop, Post Office, tea rooms and pub all within walking distance. Five and a half easy miles right round the Pendennis peninsula, taking in the working docks, the castle headland and all three town beaches, about two and a half hours on largely surfaced paths. Start from The Moor in the middle of Falmouth or from the castle car park on the point itself; the town has two railway stations on the Truro branch, so this walk is genuinely car-free. There are no stiles and no livestock, but a good deal of it is pavement and dock road where a lead is needed, and every beach on the loop closes to dogs for part of the summer.

Six miles round the headlands south of Falmouth, two and three quarter hours with 150 metres of climbing and a lagoon nature reserve at the halfway mark. Start on Gyllyngvase seafront where the town car park is, or at Swanpool a little further on; both are pay-and-display and the number 35 bus runs the same line if you would rather do it one way. Easy going with no significant stile trouble and a freshwater pool at Swanpool, but the three town beaches are all restricted in season and the path around Pennance Point runs along an unfenced low cliff.
