Park and Ride car park behind the bus stop, with a summer cafe and toilets open all year. The slipway down to the sand is steep and uneven.

Two miles of open sand each way, down the slipway at the Park and Ride off the A165 and south past the tumbled anti-tank blocks towards Auburn and Fraisthorpe. This is the beach that carries no dog order at all, so where the town sand closes from May to September this stretch stays open every day of the year, and at low water it is wide and hard enough to throw a ball down. The cliffs on the landward side are soft boulder clay and slumping, so keep off the base of them after rain, and check the tide because there is no way up between the two slipways. There is a cafe and toilets at the Park and Ride at the start and the Cow Shed at Fraisthorpe at the far end. Parking is in the Park and Ride car park behind the bus stop.

THE SMALL PRINTNo dog order applies. The East Riding exclusion covers Bridlington South Beach only between the southern face of the South Pier and the eastern face of Princess Mary Promenade Sea Wall, more than a mile north of this slipway.
