The Mile Campsite

A year-round campsite a mile out of Pocklington on the A1079 with grass and hard-standing pitches, all with electric, plus fully furnished caravans, a heated wet-room block, an undercover washing-up area, a licensed cafe and a farm shop. The site's own rules are specific: "Dogs are welcome, a maximum of 2 per unit" and "All dogs MUST be kept on a lead at all times when on the site." Dogs are barred from the toilets and showers but well-behaved ones are welcome in the cafe and the shop, and breeds listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 are refused. There is no dog-walking field included, though the site's own Pock Paws secure field can be hired by the half hour.
