Drawn by us from the recorded track, over road and path data from OpenStreetMap. It shows you where the walk goes and what it goes through — it is not a substitute for a proper map. Carry OS Explorer on the hill.

The old Whitby to Scarborough railway, 21.5 largely traffic-free miles of cinder path — the stretch from Robin Hood's Bay climbs gently through woodland to Ravenscar in about four and a half miles. Sea views come and go through the trees, and the X93 bus can carry tired legs back to the start.

THE SMALL PRINTPut dogs on leads temporarily around horses and cyclists, then let them free again once it is safe.
