The beach is a short walk away and stretches for miles in each direction. You re not far from Saltburn with its beautiful pier extensions funicular train and the beach. Walk along the promenade of multi-coloured beach huts or paddle along the shore. Walking enthusiasts and nature lovers won t be disappointed either with the scenic coastal path close by and the North Yorkshire Moor National Park within easy reach. The beautiful seaside villages of Staithes Runswick Bay and Whitby are all within easy reach. Stepping into the property you will find yourself in the lounge area within the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner you ll instantly feel at home. The beautifully furnished lounge with comfy sofa and a Smart TV with Sky including Sky Boxsets & Sky Sports offering in-house entertainment is the perfect place to relax for a cosy night in. There is also space for dining in to enjoy a romantic meal for two. The kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and hob microwave fridge and washing machine to prepare a meal or hearty breakfast. Heading upstairs to the first floor is a light bathroom with shower over bath to enjoy a soak at the end of a busy day and WC. The bedroom has a double bed perfect to get a good night s rest before a day of exploring. There is a garage for storing bikes and is an ideal place to clean the dog after a long walk. Need to know: 1 bedroom double with luxury mattress. 1 bathroom. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Smart TV with Sky including Sky Boxsets & Sky Sports. Modern electric heaters fitted. Parking is available for one car directly in front of the house.. Dogs are welcome on the the beach at Marske by the Sea all year round. This beach runs for 9 miles from the South Gare (mouth of the Tees) to Saltburn. There is only a restriction at a small area of the beach in Saltburn where dogs are not allowed in May to Sep.. Shop, pub and restaurant within walking distance. Storage for bikes.
Captain Cook Inn
A real-ale inn at the top of the village on Staithes Lane, named for the town's most famous apprentice. Its own site notes a couple of rooms are dog friendly for 'a break away with your four legged friend', but they are limited, so check before booking.
