Once part of the historic Enys Estate and perfectly placed close to the waterside town of Penryn this delightful former piggery is positioned in a courtyard setting next door to the owner s residence. Take a trip up to the historic Pendennis Castle and enjoy a Cornish ice-cream overlooking the panoramic views of Falmouth Bay and over to the fishing village of St Mawes. This special area also has a unique eco-climate where sub-tropical flowers and plants thrive. Nearby Penryn offers various eateries and pubs while Falmouth offers a charming mix of shops art galleries cafes and restaurants serving locally caught seafood. Alternatively head to the Pandora Inn for a spot of crabbing on the pontoon at high tide. Although it is steeped in its rural past the property is also equipped with many contemporary comforts throughout. From the courtyard you enter through the stable door into a wonderfully cosy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a vaulted ceiling. The beautiful kitchen has everything you need and is equipped with an electric oven and hob microwave dishwasher and fridge to create a feast for all after a day s exploring. There is also a dining table for you to enjoy your lazy breakfast. The lounge area has two very comfortable sofas so cosy up in front of the wood burner and watch your favourite programme on the Smart TV. The wonderful king-size bedroom has a built in wardrobe and full length mirror to get ready for your day after your lazy morning. There s ample storage space and double doors leading to the garden from the lounge. The shower room has a shower WC and washing machine. Completing the property is the twin bedroom at the other end of the property. Outside there is a spacious terrace which is furnished with a table and chairs so you can dine alfresco using the charcoal BBQ. The garden is perfect for relaxing in and is fully enclosed so ideal for dogs. There is parking for two cars on the gravelled drive. Need to know: 2 Bedrooms 1 king size and 1 twin. 1 Shower room with shower and WC. Electric hob and oven, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Washing machine in shower room. Wood burner (first basket of logs included). Off road parking for 2 cars. Beach 3.5 miles, pub, shop and restaurant within walking distance. Smart TV in lounge. Enclosed terrace with seating to dine alfresco or cook up on the charcoal BBQ. Please note that the dog friendly field adjacent to the cottage is not currently available for use. Travel cot, highchair and baby bath available on request.
