A large 1960s estate pub on Wold Road in west Hull, with a public bar on one side and a big lounge laid out for diners on the other, plus a garden, pool, darts and its own car park. It is a short walk from the Setting Dyke path that runs west towards Willerby and Anlaby, which makes it a natural stop rather than a destination. Hull is a unitary authority separate from East Riding and has no dog control Public Spaces Protection Order at all. The dog-friendly listing comes from CAMRA's WhatPub survey record rather than the pub's own words.
