A converted jeweller's shop on Silver Street in Hull's old town, now a family-run single-room bar with wood-panelled walls covered in plaques and photographs of the city's lost pubs, and Draught Bass permanently on. Access into the pub is step free, though there are steps down to the toilets, and it stays quiet enough for a dog to settle. It is thirty seconds from Ye Olde White Harte and five minutes from the marina and Humber promenade walk. Hull is a unitary authority with no dog control Public Spaces Protection Order at all, so the old town streets outside carry no dog rule. The dog-friendly listing comes from CAMRA's WhatPub survey record, surveyed in January 2026, rather than the pub's own words.
