Larkin's

No photo yet · the business adds these when they claim

A single-room cafe-bar on Newland Avenue named for Philip Larkin, made out of what were once two shops and still able to be partitioned off for a private do. Home-cooked food goes out every day, there is a paved area at the front and a family beer garden behind, and the bank holidays bring small real ale and cider festivals with live music from local acts. Newland Avenue is Hull City Council ground and the city, a unitary authority separate from East Riding, operates no dog control Public Spaces Protection Order at all, so a lead here is a traffic decision rather than a legal one. The dog-friendly listing comes from CAMRA's WhatPub survey record, last surveyed in December 2025, rather than the bar's own words.
