A small sand and shingle bay at the foot of the village street, with rock pools at either end and Exmoor rising behind. It is one of only three beach exclusions in the North Devon district order, closed to dogs for the whole season under the same PSPO as Croyde, with a hundred pound fixed penalty attached.

THE SMALL PRINTNorth Devon District Council PSPO: "Between 1st May and 30th September, no person shall permit their dog to be present on Combe Martin Beach, the restricted area being shown in Figure 4." Fixed penalty £100. Assistance dogs registered with a member of Assistance Dogs UK are exempt.
