Chapters Coffee and Wine Bar @ Stranger's Home is a real pub in Bradfield, and it is here so you know it exists. But we have not been able to find a dog policy for it that we would stand behind, so we are not going to guess at one. No verdict, no stamp, no date.
If this is your business, tell us whether dogs are welcome and we will put a stamp on it — free, and it stays free. Claim this page.
If you have been and you know the answer, tell us and we will go and confirm it.
These are the parts only the business can add. We check the dog policy and stamp the date — photos, prices and their own words are theirs to put in, and this listing is waiting for them.
The fire, the snug, the water bowl by the door.
A few dishes and what they cost, so people arrive knowing.
Can the dog actually sleep here, and what does it cost.
Which rooms, which times, whether the whippet gets a biscuit.
Claiming fills every box above, and lets you reply to reviews when they open. £15 a month, no contract, and it never changes the verdict — the stamp stays ours.
The quieter of the two Bradfield reservoirs, sitting in a steep-sided cleugh above the village with Agden Bog, a Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust reserve, at its head. Yorkshire Water grades its own 3.5 mile Agden route three out of four for difficulty and is honest about the going: the public footpath from Windy Bank round the north of the water is mostly flat and well surfaced but can be muddy, and boots are recommended. The whole route is under Yorkshire Water's lead rule, and the water is not safe for a dog to swim in or drink from. Low Bradfield and High Bradfield sit to the south and south-east with pubs, cafes and public toilets.
The Village Maid is a pub on Heath Road, Bradfield. It is listed here so you know it is there, but we have not yet established whether dogs are welcome — so there is no verdict on this page and no stamp. If it is your business, claim the page and tell us, and we will stamp it.
