1 place on our list here — pubs that let the dog in. Every verdict below was checked by a human — the stamp shows when.
An eighteenth-century coaching inn on the Boroughbridge road, reopened in August 2025 after a major refurbishment, with a plush lounge bar, a glass-roofed courtyard and a raised south-facing terrace. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the bar, the majority of the dining areas and the barn, on a lead throughout and off the furniture; mention the dog when you book so a suitable table can be held. The bedrooms are the one place dogs cannot go, service animals excepted.

Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
