Ranworth · 1 checked & stamped
Boots on. These are the Ranworth walks worth the drive, with lead rules and livestock warnings marked.
Five miles and around two and a half hours on field paths, a green lane and quiet single-track road, out from Malthouse Broad past the flint tower of St Helen's, the cathedral of the Broads, to South Walsham and back by Panxworth. Start at the Norfolk Wildlife Trust car park signed off the village road, postcode NR13 6HY, which closes at 5pm, and note that the free staithe parking at the water is only a handful of spaces. The boardwalk trail out to the floating visitor centre is assistance dogs only, so dogs stay on the roads and field paths, where the going is flat with kissing gates rather than stiles and cattle often graze the marsh edge.

Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
