Hardraw · 1 checked & stamped
Boots on. These are the Hardraw walks worth the drive, with lead rules and livestock warnings marked.
England's highest single-drop waterfall, a 30-metre plunge into a wooded amphitheatre reached by a short easy path through the grounds of the Green Dragon Inn. Access is via the inn's heritage centre for a small admission charge, and well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome all the way to the fall, then in the pub's ancient flagstoned bar afterwards. Film buffs will recognise it from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.

Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
One short email when we add places or a council changes its beach rules. No noise, easy out.
