The secluded village of Syderstone is ideally situated in the heart of Norfolk within easy reach of Sandringham House Houghton Hall and the 25 000 acre Holkham Estate. The village has a beautiful common which is approximately 4 square miles and which is rich in wildlife. You can take a trip on the light railway or a boat trip out to see the seals near Blakeney Point There are plenty of beautiful nature reserves in the area including RSPB Snettisham and Pensthorpe Natural Park and the coast is just a few miles away with lovely harbour towns and seaside resorts including Brancaster Wells-next-the-Sea and Hunstanton. Nearby towns and villages include Burnham Market Fakenham and Kings Lynn. On entering this pretty end-of-terrace cottage which dates back over two centuries you will find yourself in the spacious and inviting lounge/diner which retains plenty of original features including exposed beams and a traditional wood burner set in the fireplace. With TV/DVD and plenty of comfy seating the light and airy lounge is an ideal place to relax in at the end of a great day. There is also a charming dining area ideal for four guests. Heading into the shaker-style kitchen you will find it fully equipped with an electric oven and hob microwave dishwasher washing machine and fridge with ice compartment. There is also a shower room complete with walk-in shower and WC. Going up the quite steep and narrow cottage-style staircase which has a twist you will find two cosy bedrooms. There s a double room with a king-size bed built in wardrobe and views over the fields plus a twin bedroom with built in wardrobe. Stepping outside you will find a lovely small and enclosed garden with shrubs a lawn and a paved patio with garden furniture allowing you to sit back and unwind. Off-road parking is available for one car on a shingle drive. You will also be able to hire a beach hut in Wells-next-the-Sea (subject to availability and for an additional fee). This can be arranged with the owner upon booking the cottage. The hut contains everything you need for a great day on the beach. There is a small stove and gas so you can make a cup of tea windbreaks and deck chairs buckets and spades and much more. It is situated in the dog-friendly area. Stepping outside you will find a charming enclosed (dog proof) garden with table chairs and a summer house allowing you to relax and dine al fresco. Off-road parking for one car is available opposite the cottage. Welcome pack provided by owners on arrival.
