Haltwhistle · 2 checked & stamped
Somewhere to sleep that actually means "dogs welcome" — bowls out, no hidden surcharge surprises.
A small, quiet campsite between Haltwhistle and Once Brewed, well placed for the crags and popular with wall walkers and birdwatchers. Dogs are accepted with a limit of two per pitch and must be kept on a lead while on site. Everything around it is livestock farmland, which the owners are direct about.
Glamping pods, a lodge and a touring field on the hill above Haltwhistle, set up for dogs down to a hot-water dog wash by the wash block. The site publishes its own dog checklist and local dog walks. Cawfields Quarry and the wall are a mile and a half up the lane.
Know a Haltwhistle pub, cafe or place to stay that lets dogs in? Tell us and we will go and check it.
ADD A PLACEKnow one we have missed?
Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
One short email when we add places or a council changes its beach rules. No noise, easy out.
