Nestled in the valleys of Devonshire set on a family-run dairy farm you will find this comfortable spacious farm cottage. A great base in which to explore one of the UK s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty numerous coastal towns villages and beach resorts. Nearby family attractions are plentiful Pecorama Gardens offering an indoor and outdoor play area as well as rides on the Light Railway. Crealy Adventure Park near Exeter is great for a fun-filled day out or visit Escot Wildwood - and see wild boar bears and red squirrels and get lost in the amazing maze! Branscombe and Lyme Regis beaches aren t far by car and Beer Caves offer an amazing day trip if it s wet. The owners are happy for you to visit the farm animals to witness or help with the seasonal workings of their dairy farm. The historic Regency seaside town of Sidmouth is only 2.5 miles away and provides a lovely walk from the farm down to the Byes in the town. It s popular with families and couples with clean beaches and is well known for it s Folk festival and the towns Regatta in late summer as well as the Walking Festival and an amazing Science Festival in the autumn. As you enter the farm cottage there s a porch for those welly boots and flipflops soggy dogs and beach towels. The kitchen is warm and welcoming with a wide range of kitchen utensils and appliances for cooking up some tasty meals. Should you prefer to stay in and cook than go out this kitchen has an electric oven and hob microwave fridge with icebox washing machine dishwasher and many useful extras. Through the kitchen is the light and airy lounge with a dining table to sit and plan your days adventures. Stepping in to the property via the French doors you are immediately greeted by a lovely homely lounge/kitchen/diner where sofas sit in front of a Smart TV/DVD and cosy wood burner. The kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob microwave fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is also a twin bedroom and shower room with WC on the ground floor. Heading up the stairs and on to the first floor the rest of the bedrooms can be found and here there are two king-size bedrooms one with a TV and a further twin bedroom. A bathroom with hand-held shower over bath and WC and additional WC complete the offering on this floor. Venturing outside an enclosed patio area is located at the front and side of the property and boasts a hot-tub garden furniture and charcoal BBQ. Access is also available to 7 acres of a dog walking field. Perfectly situated in the Blackdown Hills an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty there is much to see and explore including steep ridges valleys picturesque villages ancient features and historic houses. The Cathedral city of Exeter with its array of high street shops pubs and restaurants is just a short drive away. The world-renowned Jurassic Coast and the delightful seaside resorts of Lyme Regis Seaton Sidmouth and Exmouth are also within driving distance. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include Escot Gardens and numerous National Trust properties and gardens such as Killerton. Step inside this delightful single-storey property and you will find yourself in the useful entrance hallway with plenty of space to hang coats and store boots. The next room is the lovely light open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a comfy sofa in front of the Smart TV and warming wood burner. Here you can relax in style after a day exploring and the dining area is the perfect venue for a laid-back evening meal. Located next to this is the compact yet perfectly appointed kitchen area with an electric oven and hob microwave and fridge with ice compartment. Head further into the cottage where you will then find the spacious double bedroom and adjacent to this and completing the offering inside the property is a shower room with shower and WC. Venture outside and located to the front of the cottage is a gorgeous little enclosed patio area with seating and here you can enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple.
