Nearby the golf course (3 miles) has stunning views towards Dunstanburgh Castle. You can also walk to the lovely sandy beach from there for picnics kite flying and a rejuvenating stroll. At low tide walk from Embleton Bay to Low Newton-by-the-sea and reward yourselves with a drink and lunch at the popular beachside pub. Beadnell Bay s breathtaking beach (7 miles) offers rock pooling and water sports with village cafes pub and restaurants for a hearty meal. Book a boat trip to the Farne Islands from Seahouses Harbour (8.5 miles). Drive to Alnwick Castle and Gardens (8 miles) for a grand day out and plenty of family activities. Enter the generous hallway of this welcoming stone barn conversion where you can store your walking boots and coats.
