Nearby the golf course (3 miles) has stunning views towards Dunstanburgh Castle. You can also walk to the lovely sandy beach from there for picnics kite flying and a rejuvenating stroll. At low tide walk from Embleton Bay to Low Newton-by-the-sea and reward yourselves with a drink and lunch at the popular beachside pub. Beadnell Bay s breathtaking beach (7 miles) offers rock pooling and water sports with village cafes pub and restaurants for a hearty meal. Book a boat trip to the Farne Islands from Seahouses Harbour (8.5 miles). Drive to Alnwick Castle and Gardens (8 miles) for a grand day out and plenty of family activities. The lovely south-facing enclosed courtyard is at the rear with outdoor dining furniture a BBQ and a fire pit perfect for al fresco dining and Northumberland dark-sky stargazing.
