The Old Vicarage

LA22 9DH
No reviews yet

A bed and breakfast on Vicarage Road, right at the Rothay Park gate and two minutes from the market place. Its dogs page is unusually generous: every room takes dogs and there is no dog charge at all, which is rare in this valley. The catch is breakfast, where dogs are not admitted to the dining room, but they will bring breakfast up to your bedroom at no extra cost instead. Dogs must be on a lead everywhere on the premises and off the furniture.

The Waterhead Inn

LA22 0ER
No reviews yet

On Lake Road at Waterhead, directly across from the steamer pier and Borrans Park, so the boat to Bowness and a flat lakeside walk are both on the doorstep. The published policy is up to two dogs per room at £15 per dog per night, added as an option during booking. It covers both the inn rooms and the Lakehouse rooms behind. The Waterhead promenade in front is a dogs-on-leads area under the council's order, so keep the lead on between the door and the park.
