Great Ayton · 1 checked & stamped
Lunch with the dog under the table, not tied to a post outside. Where Great Ayton says yes indoors, we say so — and where it is the terrace only, we say that too.
A working-farm coffee shop at Little Ayton, signposted off Great Ayton high street, serving breakfasts, sandwiches, home baking and Sunday lunch until half past three. Its own site says dogs are most welcome both inside and outside the coffee shop, which is unusually plain wording for a food business, and there is a decked balcony and tables by the stream as well as the indoor room with its log burner. Free parking in the main and overflow car parks means it works as the start or end of a walk rather than somewhere you have to leave the dog in the car.
Know a Great Ayton pub, cafe or place to stay that lets dogs in? Tell us and we will go and check it.
ADD A PLACEKnow one we have missed?
Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
One short email when we add places or a council changes its beach rules. No noise, easy out.
