Osmotherley · 2 checked & stamped
Fires, flagstones and no side-eye at the bar. Every pub below lets the dog in — and we say exactly which rooms.
An 18th-century inn on Osmotherley's market cross that has fed generations of Cleveland Way, Coast to Coast and Lyke Wake walkers. Dogs are welcome in the dining area, with water bowls provided, plus shaded seating out front and a grassed beer garden behind. The cooking is a cut above standard walkers' fare.
A traditional village pub hotel on West End with a real fire, pub games and a loyal local crowd, reputedly the only pub in England named for Catherine of Aragon. It is thoroughly dog friendly in the bar and offers dog-friendly bedrooms, making it a practical overnight halt on the Cleveland Way or Coast to Coast. Cod Beck Reservoir is a short stroll up the lane.

Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
One short email when we add places or a council changes its beach rules. No noise, easy out.
