Dog-friendly pubs in Keswick

A Main Street coaching inn a few doors from the Moot Hall, with a refurbished beer garden at the back that catches the afternoon sun. The pub takes its name from the Burns poem and lives up to it, welcoming dogs in every part of the building rather than penning them into a flagged corner. There is a large car park and a beer garden at the back, which matters in Keswick where street parking is close to hopeless in season.

A traditional pub on Lake Road with up to eight Cumbrian real ales and oak floors throughout, which is the reason the landlord gives for being dog-friendly. It is the last pub before the Derwentwater landing stages and fills with wet boots accordingly.
