Beadnell · 1 checked & stamped
Sand status, settled. Each beach carries its month ring — moss means go, rosehip means the council says no.
A mile and a half of firm sand curving south from Beadnell harbour to the Long Nanny burn, with dunes behind and the Cheviots on the skyline inland. Dogs are welcome all year: no seasonal ban applies anywhere on this stretch. The tern colony at the Long Nanny end is fenced and wardened in summer, so keep to the water's edge as you get near it.
Know a Beadnell pub, cafe or place to stay that lets dogs in? Tell us and we will go and check it.
ADD A PLACEKnow one we have missed?
Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
One short email when we add places or a council changes its beach rules. No noise, easy out.
