Dog-friendly attractions in Pocklington

A secure hire-by-the-slot dog field at The Mile on the A1079 side of Pocklington, in front of the farm shop, open every day from seven in the morning until eight at night. Slots are half an hour at £3.50 or a full hour at £7.00, and the ratio is one person to two dogs with a maximum of six dogs in the field at once unless agreed beforehand. Inside there is agility equipment, an undercover seating area, a shaded picnic bench, water and a doggy menu from the cafe. The operator warns that there is no netting under the wire, so a determined digger needs watching, and dogs must be vaccinated, wearing ID tags, accompanied at all times, and neither aggressive nor in season.
