It is a little oasis of calm and tranquillity tucked away in the small village of Stathe with the National Cycle Network and the River Parrett Trail running directly through the village. It is conveniently located from the riverside town of Langport (3.5 miles) and the larger towns of Yeovil (17 miles) and Taunton (12 miles). Make the most of this great location and venture to both the north and south coast including visits to Burnham-on-Sea (20 miles) or venture further south to the renowned Jurassic Coast. This ground-floor apartment is an immaculate conversion of a traditional stone barn. Step inside this beautiful property via a couple of external steps and you will immediately find yourself in the light kitchen/diner with views over the river. The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking lazy breakfasts or a delicious feast which can be enjoyed around the dining table. From here head into the spacious lounge; it is a space made for relaxing with family and friends featuring a Smart TV and a pool table. There is also a feature window with French doors that lead to the outside; it is a lovely space to watch wildlife on the river. After a busy day exploring head to the two beautifully decorated bedrooms. The master is a king-size bedroom and the second bedroom is a twin. Completing the ground floor accommodation is a contemporary shower room with a rainfall shower and his and her sinks. Head outside from the French doors and onto the private patio where you will find outside seating which makes a lovely spot for your morning coffee or some al fresco dining on the gas BBQ. For your four-legged friend there is an outside hot and cold dog wash perfect for muddy paws. The patio and lawned garden are enclosed but please note the riverbank with the flowing River Parrett is unfenced therefore children and pets should be supervised at all times. To the front of the property is a smaller seating area with a raised unfenced fishpond. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 twin. 1 shower room with rainfall shower and WC. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Smart TV in the lounge and a TV/DVD in the twin bedroom. Enclosed garden with a patio, table and chairs, a gas BBQ, and a dog wash with hot and cold water at the rear, plus a smaller seating area to the front. Private parking for 2 cars. Shops 3.5 miles and pub 1.5 miles. Please note this property sits on an unfenced riverbank and at the front of the property is a raised unfenced pond, therefore children and pets should be supervised at all times.
