This delightful cottage is situated in rural Hampshire in the heart of the picturesque Test Valley 2 miles from the vibrant market town of Romsey with the ancient cathedral cities of Salisbury and Winchester both approximately 14 miles away. The village is situated on the Test Way which passes by many pretty villages historic churches and country houses. Nearby Romsey offers visitors a fine selection of shops and restaurants Romsey Abbey or the home of the Mountbatten family at Broadlands. The National Trust s Mottisfont Abbey is well worth a day out. Alternatively take the short drive to the New Forest ideal for keen walkers and cyclists. Stepping inside the ground floor has a cosy characterful lounge with a TV DVD iPod dock and wood burner which is perfect for those chillier evenings after a day out. The kitchen is light and well-equipped with an electric hob double electric oven dishwasher fridge/freezer washing machine and microwave. The cottage has a separate dining room. The bathroom is downstairs and offers a shower over the bath and WC. Heading upstairs you will find the two bedrooms; a spacious king-size bedroom and a lovely twin bedroom. Outside is a partially enclosed garden with patio area with seating and a gas BBQ. Dog owners will have use of the handy onsite dog washing and drying facilities which are in the dog barn. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 twin. 1 bathroom on the ground floor with shower over bath and WC. Double electric oven, electric hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave. Wood burner. TV with Netflix and DVD player in the lounge. Partially enclosed garden with patio area, seating and gas BBQ. Parking for 2 cars. Electric car charging point 10 per week. Use of onsite dog washing and drying facilities. Shop with Post Office less than 1 mile, pub 2 miles. Telephone with free UK landline calls included.
