A big roadside pub at 539 Loxley Road with the Loxley Brewery kit on the premises, sitting between the Loxley valley path and the top of Rivelin, so it catches walkers coming off both. The rear garden is one of the largest in Sheffield and looks straight down the Loxley valley, and there is a cellar bar below the main room used for folk nights and hire. Six handpumps, a real fire and a wide menu of burgers, pizza and tapas. CAMRA's WhatPub survey, dated 26 February 2020, is the source for the dog-friendly listing rather than the pub itself.
