The Windmill

A back-street local on Queen Street, a minute off Thorne's market place and an easy walk from the Stainforth and Keadby Canal towpath that runs down to Thorne Lock. The front bar has a pool table and sports television and the rear lounge is hung with golf memorabilia and old photographs, but the room a dog can actually use is the conservatory on the side, which opens onto a large beer garden with plenty of seating. That makes it a decent stop after the canal or Thorne Moors so long as you head for the conservatory rather than the bar.
