Thrybergh Country Park

A tea room and deli in former farm buildings at 1 Arran Hill on the Doncaster Road at Thrybergh, halfway between Rotherham and Conisbrough, doing breakfasts, soups, pies, sandwiches and afternoon teas alongside bottled craft beers and a counter of cheeses and pastries to take away. It has three separate rooms, a Victorian parlour, a country-style lounge and a room actually called the Dog House where CAMRA records that muddy boots and paws are welcome, which tells you which one to head for. Thrybergh Country Park and its reservoir circuit are a few minutes up the road and are the obvious walk to pair with it. Dogs are limited to the Dog House rather than the whole tea room, and that detail comes from CAMRA's survey rather than the tea room's own wording.

A micropub in a converted barn in the Deer Park Farm complex on the A630 Doncaster Road at Thrybergh, on the road between Rotherham and Conisbrough, with three handpumps leaning on Chantry and other local micros. Seating runs over two floors, it is warmed by a log burner and there is some outside seating and a big car park, which makes it a genuinely easy stop with a wet dog after Thrybergh Country Park. Deli food and cakes come across from the tea room on the same site. CAMRA's WhatPub entry lists the tap as dog friendly with no area excluded; that is the published record rather than the bar's own words.
