A great location in the Shropshire countryside leave the car and explore. On the banks of the River Severn which is great for keen anglers along with riverside walks which are perfect for walkers and cyclists. With way marked trails for those wishing to continue up into the valley. The Severn Valley Railway is dog friendly and a great attraction for children and steam train enthusiasts housing full size locomotives. The station is home to the Museum of Village Life housed within a vintage Post Office sorting carriage. Bridgnorth Station is just 20 minutes drive away this is the starting point for the Severn Valley train ride. Perfect for food lovers with farm shops dairies vineyards and festivals. On-site is an 18th century pub situated along the riverbank serving lunch evening meals and cream teas and is dog friendly. The property is next to a stretch of beat of the River Severn approximately 3/4 of a mile which is famed for Barbel fishing tickets for fishing available on-site. Cross over the Severn Valley Railway as you approach the driveway to the lodge enjoying an elevated location overlooking the River Severn. Step inside to the open-plan living space. The lodge has been beautifully finished with a contemporary style creating the perfect base for family and friends wanting to get a way. Relax in the lounge where you can enjoy the views from the bi-folding doors across the River there is also a TV where you can enjoy a good movie. For dining you can keep the chef company around the breakfast bar with comfortable bar stools. The kitchen is both stylish and well-equipped with electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher. So when the day is done you will find two bedrooms a double room and a twin room. Completing the lodge there is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Wifi is available at the property. Open the bi-folding doors onto the enclosed courtyard sit with friends and relax whilst enjoying the views across to the river. There is a detached shed with bait fridge and bike storage. 3 dogs welcome at the property. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin. 1 bathroom.
