Perfectly located for those who love nature and want to explore the surrounding countryside on foot or on two wheels leave your car at the cottage and enjoy the amazing walks from the doorstep. Nearby Tittesworth Reservoir is situated in superb scenery with a visitor s centre and is a delight for walkers cyclists and bird watchers. Also within easy reach are Matlock Bath and Carsington Water while slightly further afield is the market town of Ashbourne. Also nearby the Manifold Trail while golf horse riding cycling and sailing are all available within a short drive. Enjoy a day out at Alton Towers or visit the impressive Chatsworth House and the historic town of Buxton. The cottage provides a warm welcome with style and charm with exposed stone and a contemporary country feel. The well-equipped kitchen is a great space to prepare a meal with electric oven and hob fridge/freezer and microwave. The dining table is placed next to the window so you can not only enjoy your meal but you can enjoy the views as well. Heading to the lounge area you will find comfy seating and TV/DVD the perfect place to relax and watch your favourite movie whilst keeping warm in front of the wood burner on those cooler evenings. When you are ready for bed get a good night s rest in the bright and airy double bedroom. One step takes you into the contemporary wet room with relaxing waterfall shower and WC which is a treat after a hard day hiking the surrounding hills thus providing everything you need for a home from home stay. Heading outside there is a secluded enclosed patio and pretty shrubbery garden sit on the love seat and take in the far-reaching views there is even a charcoal BBQ if you fancy dining alfresco. Need to know: 1 bedroom double. 1 en suite shower room. Electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. Shared utility room with washing machine. Wood burner (first basket of logs provided). Off road parking for one car. Pub and shop within walking distance. Complex of properties. Storage for bicycles. TV/DVD in lounge. Charcoal BBQ available. Secure dog walking field. Please note that although we state below 4 dogs allowed, dogs must be well behaved and well socialised.
