The historic village of Fettercairn is just over a mile away with its Royal Arch and the pretty market square where a well-worn Mercat cross stands the shaft bears the date of 1670. Enjoy a tour of the Whisky Distillery which was founded in 1824 by the owner of the Fasque Estate try a dram or two and discover more about this national tipple. As you enter the lodge you will find yourself in the hallway there is a small porch area to hang coats and store shoes. The lounge is off to your right and features a cosy open fire and comfy seating there is a Smart TV and it offers a great space to relax and unwind. The kitchen leads off the lounge it has everything you will need an electric oven and hob dishwasher microwave coffee machine and fridge/freezer. There is a dining area in the kitchen and access out onto the garden. Head back through into the hallway and you will find two king-size bedrooms with feature fireplaces. The bathroom is at the end of the hallway and has a shower over bath and WC. There is a large private garden with a dining area next to the property for you to sit out and enjoy breakfast or a drink on a nice day. There is private parking for up to three cars to the rear of the lodge within the garden area.
