Situated on the edge of the market town of Lockerbie a great base to explore the Northumberland National Park Scottish Borders Lake District and Scottish Coastline. There is an abundance of walks from your doorstep so explore the beautiful countryside on offer. The town is just 2 miles away and has a selection of pubs cafes and shops to enjoy. There is also a train station in the town which offers a regular train service to Glasgow Edinburgh and further afield. Being close to the magnificent Solway Firth with over 200 miles of spectacular coastline to explore. Other local attractions include Caerlaverock Threave and Drumlanrig Castles Robert Burns House and the Aviation Museum there are an array of golf courses locally as well as a fantastic wildlife reserve. This luxury barn conversion offers a warm welcome walking into the property you will find a spacious open-plan lounge kitchen and dining area with a high ceiling and feature beams. The contemporary kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare a hearty breakfast or a romantic evening meal. There is a dining area opposite the kitchen and a handy WC just off the entrance. Kick back and relax on the large corner sofa curl up and watch a good movie on the Smart TV or read a good book. At the end of the barn you will find a bright and spacious bedroom with a feature wood-panelled wall it has an en-suite shower room that has a lovely rainfall shower that will wash all your stresses away. There is a pretty enclosed private patio in front of the property. It has seating with a fire pit and fairly lights. It is a really lovely space to sit out and on an evening to enjoy the dark skies and star gaze with a glass of wine while snuggled under a cosy blanket in front of the roaring firepit. The area is a haven with birds and wildlife and there is another garden area to enjoy. This is shared with lovely mature trees seating lawn and bird feeders. It is a great place to just relax and listen to the birds. In the surrounding fields you can see the free rang chickens sheep and horse roam.
