Within easy driving distance are the famous Quantock Hills an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty popular with walkers and nature-lovers. A little further afield you can explore the spectacular Exmoor National Park. You could visit popular seaside towns including Brean and Burnham-on-Sea famous for their excellent sandy beaches. Among the many attractions nearby are Cheddar Gorge Wookey Hole Glastonbury Tor Somerwest World and the Clarks Village shopping outlet. You could also visit some of the popular towns and cities nearby including Glastonbury Wells Bridgwater and Weston-Super-Mare. Bridgewater carnival in November is located only 15 minutes away which the jubilee cart will be presented and makes their way around the towns in the South West It is the biggest carnival in the UK. On entering this beautiful and traditional property which forms a wing of a fantastic farmhouse you will find yourself in the cosy and inviting open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which retains many original features including exposed beams and stonework and a feature fireplace. You are also welcome to visit the farm and help feed the chickens collect the eggs meet the owners pets and see the animals in the pets corner. Lambing season takes place from March to the end of April so in the spring season you can also help with the orphan lambs.
