Within walking distance you can discover The Tall Ships at Charlestown and the setting for the Poldark TV series. A perfect place to relax on the historic quay where time has stood still. St Austell Bay has a fabulous coastline with some lovely walks sheltered coves and traditional fishing villages including Fowey to the east and Mevagissey to the west. Attractions include The Eden Project The Ship Wreck Centre Lost Gardens of Heligan Poldark mine St Michaels Mount and National Trust properties including nearby Lanhydrock house.
